A Good Writer keeps going

I saw this post and have to share it. It is the truth about writers. Even when I’m not actually putting pen to paper, I’m conjuring ideas in my head. Working out plot possibilities. I have a number of first draft novels i’ve written that need to be rewritten.

After reading the above blog I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m still a “good writer”in training. I don’t write every day. I don’t write as if this were a business. I craft the plot, characters an setting on days i’m don’t actually have my rear in a seat.

I’m afraid of this new story. I’m afraid I won’t be able to write it the way it needs to be written. Its a style I’m not an expert at, yet I think it needs to be written. It will be a labor (and I mean LABOR)-ous work.

Don’t let others stifle your dream or passion. Work your craft, take instruction and critisism. Keep writing and improving your work.
